Marketing, Communication and Business Development Manager – BOOKet (BH2 Group)

BH2 Group, through its online store BOOKet, launches a call for applications to recruit a Marketing, Communication and Business Development Manager. The mission is to support the launch and growth of BOOKet in the Cameroonian market.

Job overview

Under the supervision of the BOOKet Manager, the holder promotes BOOKet on its digital channels and in its physical shop. He/she takes care of communication, the development of online and in-store sales, the operational coordination of the point of sale as well as customer relations. At start-up, these functions are grouped into the same position.

Key responsibilities

The holder is involved in the development and implementation of BOOKet’s marketing and sales plan. He/she develops the visibility of the store and animates its social networks and other digital channels. He/she prepares or coordinates communication content: visuals, product sheets, catalogues and publications. He/she offers and implements advertising campaigns, promotions and commercial operations, enhances products and contributes to the development of online sales.

The function also includes responding to customer requests, tracking orders and coordinating their processing with the logistics department, managing complaints and contributing to customer satisfaction and loyalty. The incumbent tracks business results and produces periodic reports to management.

He/she ensures the operational coordination of the physical shop: organization of the sales space, presentation of products, reception and quality of service. He/she ensures compliance with sales and in-store collection procedures, as well as the daily monitoring of cash transactions according to BH2 Group’s control rules. He/she coordinates the activities of people possibly assigned to the point of sale and transmits operational needs to the Directorate. Finally, he/she works with the supply and logistics manager for restocking, inventory and stock consistency between the physical store and online sales.

Candidate profile

The position requires a Bac level training +2 or Bac +3 in marketing, commerce, communication, business management or equivalent field. A desired experience of 2 to 3 years in marketing, sales, communication or customer relations is expected. Experience in e-commerce or selling via social networks is an asset.
