The consultant will need to measure the real productivity of cocoa farms owned by members of supported cooperatives. Duration and budget

Candidate profile
The candidate must have at least a master's degree in agronomy, agricultural economics, crop science, agroforestry, statistics or close field. He must have at least 5 years of experience in evaluating agricultural productivity, agricultural surveys or estimating yields, and have a good knowledge of cocoa production in Cameroon and smallholder farmers. Experience in sampling, collecting and analyzing quantitative data is also required. Fluency in French and English is required; speaking a local language in the area is an asset.
Composition of the file
The file should include a one-page maximum cover letter, a brief presentation of similar assignments completed, a detailed technical proposal (comprehension of the assignment, methodology, sampling, data quality, performance estimation), an implementation schedule, the CV of the lead consultant and key team members, references or proof of similar assignments, as well as a financial proposal. We must also join the CNI the principal consultant; for a firm, a tax file with a certificate of tax compliance, an RIB and the unique identifier number (NIU).
How the offers will be rated
The evaluation will focus on similar qualifications and assignments, technical approach, sampling and method of estimating performance, work plan and schedule, data quality, analysis, validation and reporting, as well as the financial proposal. In the final note, the technical proposal accounts for 60% and the financial proposal for 40%.
