The EUGEKA Training & Consulting firm recruits, for one of its clients, a reference company in the technical services and strategic infrastructures, a Head of Internal Audit Department (M/F). Abidjan

• Frequent travel

MISSION

Strengthen and preserve the value of the company by providing objective assurance, advice and analysis based on a risk-based approach to management.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

• Mapping financial, accounting, organizational and operational risks;
• Develop the risk-based audit plan and internal audit procedures;

Main duties

• Supervise audit missions, special missions and investigations;
• Assess the effectiveness of controls, risk management and governance;
• Oversee physical flow monitoring and periodic inventories;
• Present the summary reports to the General Management and the Audit and Risk Management Committee;
• Follow up on recommendations and supervise the audit team.

Candidate profile

PROFILE SOUGHT - ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in professional standards and internal audit techniques;
• Proficiency in general and analytical accounting and management control;
• Proven ability to develop a risk matrix and audit plan;
• Knowledge of international civil aviation and meteorology standards and regulations;
• Bac+4/5 in Audit and Management Control, Finance-Accounting, Management Sciences or Financial Engineering (MSTCF appreciated);

Experience

• At least 7 years of experience in financial audit or practice.

• Excellent writing skills and good level of professional English;
• Integrity, ethics, critical thinking, synthesis and leadership;
• Ability to delegate, supervise, work under pressure and high availability.
