Director of Information Systems (SI) (M/F)

The position

Responsibilities

Role: Ensuring the accountability and security of the company’s information system, with a Software orientation, databases and programming. Tasks to be performed:

• Lead and coordinate the IT team;
• Manage the skills of the IT department;
• Organize working time, manage leave and absences and refer to the hierarchy and human resources department;
• Ensure the proper functioning of all equipment under the service: Power BI server, office and accounting servers, individual workstations (laptop, fixed, store terminals and deliveries);
• ÊBe the guarantor and ensure compliance with IT security policies deployed in the company;
• Êbe the privileged interlocutor of the CISO Group and participate in the COSEC group;
• Put in place the safeguarding policy and ensure its proper functioning;
• Ensure the implementation of patches or scalable maintenance of the company’s software;

Education / Qualifications

• Undertake training actions on different software to the general management and all users of the company;
• Collect the evolution requests and needs expressed by internal or external users on different software and know how to make a summary;
• Collaborate with the group’s IT services company for all elements of the information system set up by it;
• Êbe an effective interlocutor vis-à-vis external service providers (assessment of proposals on technical and financial aspects);
• Ensure a high level of documentation on all IT tools;
• Set up and monitor the IT department’s PRA/PCA with the group’s general management and IT company;
• Participate in seminars or other meetings of the group’s computer scientists;
• Develop, monitor and analyze the IT budget with the Directorate General and the CFO.

Candidate profile

• Bac+5 MIAGE or engineering school ideally

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience in an identical position Skills:
• Demonstrate an ability to align technology with business objectives and plan for the long term;
• Êbe able to lead and inspire a team, while making strategic decisions for the company;
• Êbe able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Understand the needs of end users and be able to provide solutions that improve their experience;
• Êbe able to manage a budget and justify technological investments with the General Management;
• Have a thorough understanding of information technology and emerging trends. Skills know-how: Experience in administration of business and financial management software; Knowledge and practical experience of the Power BI platform and OS400; Knowledge and practical experience of SQL language and database administration; Strong skills on Windows (Server 2022/2019 as well as 11, ...); Excellent command of networks (TCP/IP, LAN, Wifi) and VLAN protocols, IP routing, QOS; Minimum English level B2 (TOEIC at least 875) Other information RMO subsidiary: RMO Senegal Offer no.:
