Fluency in English and Luganda is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. We are seeking a CCTV Operator for a six-month probationary period based in Kampala, Uganda. This role does not involve direct supervision of staff but reports to the IT Lead or Channel Lead. The position carries budgetary responsibilities. Marie Stores Uganda (MSG), an affiliate of MSI Reproductive Choices, is part of a global network of 37 country programs committed to expanding access to quality reproductive healthcare and empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their reproductive health. Nationally, MSG’s team ensures the delivery of superior sexual and reproductive health services through diverse service delivery methods. Our initiatives support the enhancement of public health systems in over 915 public health facilities, while we operate 25 mobile outreach teams, 12 health centers, and a dedicated maternity hospital. Additionally, we facilitate the distribution of socially marketed products such as Flame and Lifeguard condoms, Back Up emergency contraception, and Well Plan daily contraceptive pills. Through these comprehensive services, we enable women and families to determine the timing and circumstances of childbearing, fostering opportunities for them to achieve their goals and cultivate healthier, more sustainable futures. The CCTV Operator is tasked with overseeing and managing closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems and associated equipment to safeguard the organization’s facilities, assets, employees, and guests. This individual is required to promptly escalate any suspicious behavior, incidents, or technical failures to the relevant personnel while ensuring meticulous documentation of all observed events. Oversee a range of critical duties, including directing project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, and maintaining alignment with organizational objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategic solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data to assess progress, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership for informed decision-making. The position encompasses several critical areas of accountability, including: Review live and archived CCTV feeds to promptly identify and report any signs of suspicious behavior or unauthorized access attempts. Operate CCTV systems while ensuring strict adherence to organizational policies and applicable legal regulations. Respond without delay to alarms, incidents, or emergencies in strict accordance with established protocols. Liaise with security staff, management, and emergency services as required to ensure effective coordination and response. Ensure meticulous documentation of observations, incidents, and corresponding actions in precise logs and records. Regularly conduct inspections of CCTV systems to identify and document any malfunctions or technical problems. Protect all recordings and information by maintaining strict data security and confidentiality measures at all times.
