Machine Operator – Tube Mill at Steel and Tube Industries

Responsabilités

Qualifications Degree, Diploma and Craft III certificate in engineering and in-depth technical knowledge of the specific machine. Experience 2+ years Responsibilities Manage operation of the assigned machine and also work to ensure that they are well maintained by setting up and operating the equipment to produce orders within specification. Oil and grease the machines and make sure that they are working properly. Adjust and operate the speed and control the load of the machines that is loading and unloading materials by hand or crane. Monitor the finished products obtained from the machines to ensure the quality and quantity checks with company provisions. Monitor the working of the machines and work to provide finished materials according to specifications required. Report the need for improvement or defect on the machine to the Production Supervisor or Plant Manager. Maintain a report of the total amount of goods manufactured in a day from the particular machine and other reports. Any other duties assigned. Must wear PPE and adhere to all safety rules. Reports to the Section In charge. Interfaces (Titles of people you deal with, e.g. from other departments, sections, customers) Technicians and Artisans Store keepers Supervisors Environmental & Safety Responsibilities and Ethics Ensure cleanliness around your work area. Enforce PPE usage by employees in the plant at all times. Guidance and on-the job training of workers especially new ones in good environmental maintenance and safer working procedures in order to reduce occupational accidents. Assist management to identify resources required to improve EHS in the company. Ensure good housekeeping in the plant i.e. immediate cleaning of coolants and oil spillages, emptying of waste bins, shift of scrap from respective workplace. Ensure proper use of waste bins and their availability at the designated respective locations in your section. Assist in taking corrective actions for any EHS deficiencies identified during audits or day to day observations. Facilitate security of company staff and property. Encourage teamwork for the purpose of a smooth and prosperous management. Help create a culture and atmosphere of hard work and high personal integrity.
