Salary: USD 1,000–1,200 per month + Benefits Job Description We are hiring a Boiler & Operations Engineer for a leading distillery company in Uganda. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in boiler operations, utilities, and production support within the distillery, alcohol, or process manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities Operate, monitor, and maintain industrial boilers safely and efficiently. Ensure uninterrupted steam supply for production operations. Monitor boiler performance and carry out routine inspections. Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations. Maintain operational records, logs, and reports. Support day-to-day distillery production and utility operations. Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to optimize plant performance. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 3–8 years of experience in boiler operations within the distillery, alcohol, ethanol, brewery, sugar, or other process manufacturing industries. Knowledge of steam generation systems, utilities, and boiler maintenance. Understanding of safety standards and boiler operating procedures. Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
