Job Summary The Warehouse Officer oversees the seamless functioning of warehouse operations, overseeing the accurate receipt, storage, inventory management, and dispatch of materials and finished products. This position demands meticulous maintenance of inventory records, strict adherence to company protocols, and active support to guarantee continuous production flow and on-time customer deliveries. Key Responsibilities Inspect and document all incoming materials and completed products upon receipt. Properly store inventory while adhering to established company standards and all applicable safety regulations. Maintain precise inventory records in the warehouse management system, such as ERP or SAP when applicable. Perform routine stock counts, execute cycle counts, and engage in scheduled stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy. Monitor inventory levels closely and promptly communicate any shortages or discrepancies identified. Prepare and manage delivery notes, goods receipt documentation, and other relevant warehouse records with precision and efficiency. Oversee the punctual loading and dispatch of shipments. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations in the warehouse environment. Oversee adherence to housekeeping standards to ensure a clean, orderly, and hazard-free warehouse environment. Collaborate closely with Procurement, Production, Quality, and Logistics teams to maintain seamless operational workflows. Analyze inventory discrepancies to identify underlying causes and propose solutions to rectify variances. Drive ongoing enhancements to optimize warehouse operations and maximize productivity. Required Qualifications & Experience A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in fields such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing & Supply, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required. With a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in warehouse operations within a manufacturing or industrial setting, the ideal candidate will bring proven expertise to this role. Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms is considered a valuable asset. Proven expertise in inventory management principles and best practices is essential. Proficient in adhering to warehouse safety protocols and regulatory guidelines. Required Skills Possesses exceptional ability to manage time, prioritize tasks effectively, and coordinate multiple responsibilities with precision. Demonstrates exceptional precision and meticulousness in all tasks and outputs. Proven skills in critical analysis and effective problem resolution. Effective verbal and written communication abilities, along with a talent for building and maintaining positive professional relationships, are essential. Skilled in utilizing Microsoft Office applications, with a particular emphasis on Excel. Proven capability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations while consistently meeting established deadlines. Maintains the highest standards of integrity and accountability in all professional interactions and responsibilities.
