The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day logistics operations, including inventory control, warehouse management, and transportation coordination. They will also be tasked with optimizing supply chain efficiency, reducing operational costs, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to meet customer demands. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, maintain compliance with industry regulations, and support strategic business objectives. Key Responsibilities Facilitate and oversee the international transportation of goods and equipment, ensuring timely and compliant movement across borders. Responsibilities include compiling and validating customs, import/export, and transport documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with customs officials, licensed clearing agents, logistics providers, and customers to facilitate seamless import and export processes. Monitor shipments and verify on-time delivery across international borders. Guarantee adherence to all customs regulations as well as established company protocols. Accurately document and maintain records pertaining to shipments, associated costs, and logistics operations. Address transportation-related obstacles, including delays, documentation discrepancies, and other operational challenges, in a timely and efficient manner. Compile logistics reports and deliver periodic updates to management. Requirements A qualification in Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline, either at the diploma or degree level, is required. With a minimum of three years of professional experience in logistics, ideally including international or cross-border operations, you will bring valuable expertise to this role.
