We are seeking an ESG & Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Specialist Based in Kitwe, this full-time position integrates the development of corporate sustainability (ESG) strategies with the oversight of project performance and impact monitoring (MEL) to facilitate data-driven growth. Key Responsibilities ESG Management: Develop and oversee ESG frameworks while ensuring adherence to local and international regulations. Additionally, lead comprehensive risk assessments and manage reporting processes to maintain transparency and accountability. MEL Frameworks: Develop data collection instruments, monitor performance metrics, supervise quality assurance processes, and convert data into strategic insights. Learning & Reporting: Foster an environment of continuous learning among teams while producing detailed impact reports for stakeholders. Key Requirements Education: Diploma A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Development, Statistics, Development Studies, or a closely related discipline is required. Experience: Capable of managing ESG frameworks and/or MEL systems for 1 to 4 years, with a preference for candidates with experience in the NGO or corporate sustainability sectors. Skills: Skilled in utilizing data analysis tools such as Excel, SPSS, and KoboToolbox/OK, with a strong understanding of Zambia’s environmental regulatory framework.
