AMSCO recruits, on behalf of a leading and internationally renowned football academy — reference institution in the training of high-level sports talent — a Master of Internship in charge of the supervision of life. Job overview As part of the accompaniment of its young residents, the institution is looking for a Master / Mistress of Internship responsible for ensuring the supervision, safety, well-being and educational support of student-athletes hosted within the boarding school. The incumbent of the position will help to establish a structured, disciplined and caring living environment that is conducive to the students’ academic, sporting and personal success. Mission Reporting to the Intern Manager, he/she must ensure the quality of individual and collective life of interns, guarantee their physical and moral security, ensure compliance with internal regulations and accompany students in their daily organization, studies and personal development.

Responsibilities

Ensure the supervision of internal students during off-class times, including evenings, nights, weekends and rest periods, according to the established schedule; Ensure compliance with internal regulations, schedules, safety instructions, hygiene and collective living rules; Supervise supervised studies and encourage residents to adopt good work habits, punctuality and autonomy;

Other information

Prevent and manage conflicts, inappropriate behaviour or emergency situations, informing the hierarchy when necessary; Contribute to the educational monitoring of students, in connection with the administration, teachers, sports coaches and parents; Participate in the organization and facilitation of educational, recreational or cohesion activities within the boarding school; Monitor the presence of interns, report absences, delays or incidents and provide follow-up documents; Accompany students in learning the rules of life, respect for others, discipline and responsibility; Ensure a clean, quiet, safe and conducive environment for rest, study and sports performance.

Candidate profile

Minimum level: Baccalaureate or equivalent degree; Training in education, coaching, pedagogy, psychology, animation or school supervision is an asset; Very good morals, rigor and proven ability to organize personally and groups;

Experience

Prior experience of at least 5 years in a boarding school, school, sports centre or any other youth supervision structure; Proven ability to coach teenagers and young athletes with firmness, listening and a sense of responsibility; Availability to work on staggered hours, including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays, depending on the needs of the boarding school; Proficiency in French; knowledge of English would be an advantage.
