Engineering Specialist – reliability and warranty (M/F)

Responsibilities

General Responsibilities of Foreman Atelier Rebuild:

• Ensure optimal use of the workshop’s available workforce and resources in order to achieve planned operational objectives.
• Assist the Workshop Manager in the development of short- and medium-term operational planning, taking into account the delivery times of parts.
• Ensure daily monitoring of the work carried out in relation to the established schedule.
• Supervise employees to ensure quality work.
• Assign work orders (Job Cards) and manage technicians to optimize productivity by aligning tasks with each other’s skills.
• Ensure the quality of work in accordance with the Komatsu standard procedures developed by KRCC as part of the EMS workshop certification.
• Control the proper use of RESO software by employees. Reporting:
• Provide the Senior Supervisor of the workshop with a daily report of operations.
• Provide the Senior Supervisor of the workshop with daily timesheets.
• Provide the Senior Workshop Supervisor with component evaluation, assembly and testing reports. Documentation:
• Keep detailed and organized files, as well as photos for each intervention.
• Keep detailed records of working hours for each intervention.
• Ensure the monitoring of all parts consumed.

Education / Qualifications

• Provide practical assistance, on-the-job training and technical advice to employees.
• Maintain safe work practices and contribute to improved safety within the workshop. Other responsibilities:
• Implement a zero tolerance policy for breaches of safety rules.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment for the team.
• Ensure that work schedules are respected and required documents are submitted on time.

Other information

• Ensure that employees are well informed and that change management principles are applied, while ensuring the timely transmission of all required documentation.

Candidate profile

• Professional certificate or advanced technical degree in the field concerned.
• Good command of computer tools, including MS Word, Excel and Project.
• Very good knowledge of mechanics and electricity.

Experience

• Experience with the procedures and processes of a reconstruction workshop (Rebuild/Reman).
• Customer orientation and sense of service.
• Respect for hierarchy and team members.
• Experience in removing and installing components.
• Ability to work effectively as a team, with prior experience on projects.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Relationship skills are essential. At least five (5) years of experience in a fully equipped REMAN workshop, specializing in the overhaul of mining machine components. Benefits:
