VACANCY: ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNOLOGIST
Coptic Hospital is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Environmental Health Technologist.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct environmental health inspections and assessments within the hospital. Monitor compliance with environmental health, hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards. Ensure proper waste management and disposal practices. Conduct health and safety awareness and provide guidance to staff on environmental health matters. Identify environmental health risks and recommend appropriate corrective measures. Maintain accurate records and prepare relevant reports. Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Environmental Health or a related field from a recognised institution. Verification of all qualifications by ZAQA is required. Must be registered with HPCZ and possess a valid practicing licence. Relevant work experience will be an added advantage. Good communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
