Environmental Health Technologist
Coptic Hospital invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Environmental Health Technologist. Key Responsibilities Conduct environmental health inspections and assessments within the hospital. Monitor compliance with environmental health, hygiene, sanitation and safety standards. Ensure proper waste-management and disposal practices. Conduct health and safety awareness activities and guide staff on environmental health matters. Identify environmental health risks and recommend corrective measures. Maintain accurate records and prepare relevant reports.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements Diploma or Degree in Environmental Health or a related field from a recognised institution. Verification of all qualifications by ZAQA. Registration with HPCZ and a valid practising licence. Relevant work experience is an added advantage.
Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
