Job Vacancy For Finance Manager

We are a reputable steel company in Ghana, based in Tema, which is actively engaged in metal recycling and steel production for residential and commercial sectors primarily in Africa. Our products include C-Channels, Angle Bars, Mild Steel Reinforced Bars and High Tensil Reinforced Steel. The company, inline with its growth agenda, invites applications from results-oriented individuals with strong, assertive personality capable of taking ownership, challenging the status quo and driving performance in a fast-paced production environment.

Title: Finance Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain robust cost systems to track materials labour and overheads

  • Analyse product costing, margin opportunities and pricing strategies to improve operational performance

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting and forecasting aligned with production targets

  • Manage cost accounting (raw materials, energy, labour, cost per ton)

  • Monitor and control manufacturing costs, variances and plant performance

  • Oversee inventory accounting (raw materials, VVIP, finished goods)

  • Prepare financial reports and provide insights to support operational decisions

  • Manage cash flow and working capital for continuous production operations

  • Ensure tax compliance, audits and statutory reporting

  • Implement strong internal controls and risk management systems

  • Partner with operations to improve efficiency, cost reduction and profitability

Qualification Required & Experience

  • Degree in Finance/Accounting (Professional certification preferred - ACCA/CA/CIMA)

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the manufacturing or heavy industry

  • Strong background in costing, inventory management and financial analysis

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced excel
