Read more about this company Business Development Executive Job Type Full Time , Hybrid Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience 3 years Location Lagos City Ikeja Job Field Sales / Marketing / Retail / Business Development Job Summary We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Executive to drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding relationships with existing employers on the MyJobMag platform. This is a client-facing role for someone who is confident in prospecting, pitching, and closing deals. The ideal candidate understands recruitment or HR solutions and can clearly communicate value to decision-makers while consistently meeting sales targets. Key Responsibilities Identify and prospect potential clients across various industries Generate leads through outbound outreach, referrals, and networking Schedule and lead meetings with HR managers, founders, and business leaders Present and sell MyJobMag’s recruitment and employer branding solutions Understand client hiring needs and recommend suitable service offerings Negotiate terms and close deals to achieve revenue targets Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure successful service delivery Track pipeline, sales activity, and performance metrics Provide market feedback to improve products and positioning Support business development efforts across affiliated brands where required Perform other duties aligned with revenue growth and company objectives Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field 3–5 years experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Confidence in leading client conversations and closing deals Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and proactive Experience in recruitment, HR tech, or B2B services is an advantage Skills & Competencies Sales and closing ability Relationship management Persuasion and negotiation Strategic thinking Resilience and persistence Excellent communication skills What We Offer Performance-based incentives and commission Opportunity to work with a fast-growing digital platform Exposure to multiple industries and high-value clients Career growth in sales and business development Why this role is attractive This isn’t just a sales support role, you will: Own client conversations Influence revenue directly Be part of a growing platform with strong market presence Check how your CV aligns with this job Method of Application Interested and qualified candidates should apply using the Apply Now button below.
