JUCo invites applications from highly qualified and competent candidates to fill the following academic positions: Available Positions – Lecturer / Assistant Lecturer – Psychology (1 Position) – Counselling (1 Position) – Information Sciences (2 Positions) – Library and Records Management (2 Positions) – Accountancy (3 Positions) – Law (2 Positions) – Business Administration – Procurement and Supply Chain Management (2 Positions) Reports To Head of Department Lecturer Duties and Responsibilities – Conduct research, publications, and consultancy activities. – Deliver lectures, seminars, tests, assignments, and examinations and submit results on time. – Guide junior staff on academic and professional matters. – Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications – PhD in the relevant field from a recognized institution. – Master’s degree in the relevant field with a minimum GPA of 4.0. – Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with a minimum GPA of 3.5. Assistant Lecturer Duties and Responsibilities – Conduct research, publications, and consultancy activities. – Deliver lectures, tutorials, and seminars under the guidance of senior staff. – Prepare teaching aids and instructional materials. – Organize and participate in departmental, college, and public seminars. – Guide and supervise student projects and research activities. – Report to the Head of the respective Department or Unit. – Perform any other duties assigned by the reporting officer. Qualifications – Master’s degree in the relevant field with a minimum GPA of 4.0. – Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
