About the Role Kilora Talent Partners is seeking a dedicated, reliable Chinese Translator (Tanzanian National) to bridge communication between Chinese management and Tanzanian staff, clients, suppliers, and external partners. The role combines daily oral interpretation, written document translation, management assistance, and administrative coordination across site activities and business meetings. Key Responsibilities 1. Interpretation & Verbal Communication Daily Interpretation: Provide real-time Chinese-English and Chinese-Swahili interpretation support between Chinese management and local Tanzanian employees, clients, and suppliers. Meetings & Site Visits: Assist with oral interpretation during business meetings, operational discussions, site activities, and daily management routines. Escort Interpretation: Accompany Chinese management on external business visits, client meetings, errands, and field site activities as needed. 2. Translation & Document Support Document Translation: Translate operational notices, corporate emails, status reports, and administrative documents between Chinese and English. Instruction Cascading: Assist management in accurately conveying work arrangements, instructions, operational guidelines, and feedback to local teams. 3. Administrative & Operational Coordination Departmental Support: Assist with general administrative, business assistance, and cross-departmental coordination tasks. Confidentiality & Compliance: Maintain strict professional confidentiality regarding company discussions, business documents, and management instructions. Qualifications & Requirements Eligibility & Language Skills Nationality: Must be a Tanzanian National. Chinese Language: Good spoken and written Chinese communication skills, with the ability to handle daily workplace and business conversations effectively. English Language: Basic to proficient spoken and written English communication skills. Experience & Technical Competencies Experience: Previous experience as a Chinese Translator, Business Assistant, Project Coordinator, or Administrative Officer within a Chinese enterprise or Chinese-funded project is preferred. Software Skills: Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.). Interpersonal Capabilities: Strong cross-cultural communication, conflict-resolution, and coordination skills, with high professional responsibility and adaptiveness to a fast-paced work environment. Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel or work on-site for business visits and external errands when required
