The company focuses on delivering practical, technology-driven solutions that empower businesses to manage people more efficiently across Tanzania and the wider region. Role Description The Graduate Interior Architect (Hiring on behalf of a client) will support the design and execution of interior spaces, including concept development, space planning, and detailed drawings for residential, commercial, and office projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in preparing design presentations, producing technical drawings, coordinating interior fit-out details, and ensuring design solutions align with client requirements and brand guidelines. The role involves collaborating with senior architects, designers, and project managers, participating in site visits, and following up on construction and installation progress to ensure quality and adherence to specifications. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, requiring close coordination with multidisciplinary teams and vendors throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications – Candidates should possess strong skills in Interior Architecture and Architecture, with the ability to translate design concepts into practical solutions. – Candidates should possess skills in Space Planning and Interior Design to create functional, aesthetically pleasing layouts that meet client needs. – Candidates should possess skills in Interior Fit-out, including familiarity with materials, finishes, and detailing for high-quality interior construction. – Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, Interior Design, or a closely related field. – Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools) and basic knowledge of 3D visualization. – Strong attention to detail, ability to read and prepare technical drawings, and readiness to learn in a fast-paced project environment. – Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with project teams, contractors, and clients. – Previous internship or project experience in interior projects in Tanzania or similar markets is an added advantage.
