Our client, a well-established and growing FMCG business, is seeking an accomplished Marketing Executive to join its marketing team and play a key role in driving brand growth, customer engagement and commercial performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy & Brand Development Support the development and execution of the company's overall marketing strategy in line with business and commercial objectives. Develop and implement annual and quarterly marketing plans across assigned brands, products or categories. Contribute to brand positioning, value propositions, messaging and go-to-market strategies. Identify opportunities to strengthen brand awareness, market penetration, customer loyalty and revenue growth. Monitor brand health and recommend initiatives to improve market performance. Ensure all marketing activity consistently reflects the company's brand identity and positioning.
- Campaign Management Lead the planning, development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Manage campaigns from initial brief through to execution, measurement and post-campaign evaluation. Work closely with creative agencies, media partners, PR agencies, digital agencies, printers and other external suppliers. Develop compelling campaign briefs and ensure deliverables meet agreed objectives, timelines and quality standards. Coordinate promotional campaigns, product launches, seasonal activity and trade marketing initiatives. Evaluate campaign effectiveness using relevant KPIs and provide recommendations for future activity.
- Consumer & Market Insights Conduct ongoing market, competitor and consumer analysis to identify trends, opportunities and potential threats. Monitor consumer behaviour, purchasing patterns and emerging FMCG trends. Translate market and customer insights into actionable marketing initiatives. Track competitor pricing, promotions, product launches, positioning and communication strategies.

- Digital & Social Media Marketing Develop and oversee digital marketing activity across relevant platforms. Work with internal and external teams to deliver engaging website, social media, email and content marketing initiatives. Monitor digital performance and optimise campaigns based on data and consumer engagement. Ensure digital communications remain consistent with overall brand strategy. Stay informed about emerging digital platforms, technologies and consumer trends.
- Product Launches & Innovation Support and/or lead new product development and product launch programmes. Develop launch plans, positioning, messaging, promotional materials and supporting communications. Work cross-functionally with Product Development, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance teams. Conduct post-launch reviews and use performance insights to improve future launches. Identify opportunities for product innovation based on consumer needs and market gaps.
- Trade & Commercial Marketing Partner closely with the Sales and Commercial teams to develop marketing programmes that support revenue and distribution objectives. Develop promotional strategies that balance consumer demand generation with commercial profitability. Support trade marketing, point-of-sale activity, merchandising and retailer/customer initiatives. Analyse promotional performance and recommend improvements. Ensure marketing plans are aligned with distribution, sales targets and broader commercial priorities.
- Budget & Agency Management Manage allocated marketing budgets effectively and ensure expenditure delivers measurable value. Track campaign and project expenditure against approved budgets. Negotiate with agencies and suppliers where appropriate to achieve competitive commercial terms. Manage relationships with external marketing partners and ensure agreed service levels are delivered.
- Performance Reporting & Analytics Establish and monitor KPIs for marketing campaigns and brand initiatives. Analyse sales, market share, campaign, digital and customer data to assess marketing effectiveness.

- Stakeholder & Team Collaboration Build strong working relationships across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain and senior leadership. Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards and deadlines. Present marketing strategies, campaign plans and performance results confidently to senior stakeholders. Where applicable, mentor junior marketing team members and contribute to the development of the wider marketing function.
We are looking for an experienced marketing professional who combines commercial awareness, creativity, analytical ability and strong execution skills . The ideal candidate will have:

- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience , preferably within FMCG or a comparable consumer-facing industry. Proven experience in brand management, consumer marketing and integrated campaign execution. Strong understanding of the FMCG customer journey, retail environment and competitive landscape. Demonstrable experience managing marketing projects from strategy through to execution and evaluation. Experience working with creative, digital, media, PR or other specialist marketing agencies. Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of how marketing contributes to revenue, profitability and market share. Experience managing marketing budgets and external suppliers. Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable recommendations. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills. Strong project management and organisational skills. The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities. A proactive, entrepreneurial approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline. A professional marketing qualification such as CIM or equivalent would be advantageous. Additional qualifications in digital marketing, brand management, analytics or commercial management would be an advantage. Key Competencies: Data & Analytics
