Africa Global Logistics Rwanda Limited, a Rwandan-registered entity headquartered at Kigali Special Economic Zone, P. O. Box 1338, Kigali, Rwanda, specializes in transport and logistics. Within the IT Department’s Freight Forwarding & Transit unit, we are seeking a seasoned Product Owner – BUILD on a permanent contract to join the Connect Logistics team. Scheduled for deployment in March 2025, Connect Logistics functions as a data orchestrator, aggregating, refining, and consolidating information from operational systems (TMS) to present it via a client-facing web portal. In this transformative phase, the project expands its functional scope and solidifies its role as a central component within the Transit & Freight Forwarding ecosystem. It will orchestrate seamless data exchanges across logistics applications while guaranteeing the accuracy and reliability of shared information. Reporting to the Connect Logistics Solution Manager, the selected candidate will spearhead the delivery of new integrations and strategic enhancements for the Azure Integration Platform, overseeing the end-to-end evolution lifecycle—from business requirement analysis and solution design to development, testing, and deployment—ensuring a smooth transition to the RUN organization. By fostering close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and operational support, the role ensures timely delivery of new capabilities, alignment with strategic priorities, and seamless integration into the product roadmap. Key Responsibilities: – Roadmap Management: Collect, evaluate, and validate strategic business requirements and integration initiatives; lead scoping workshops; document functional needs; define and maintain data exchange mappings; and align all product evolutions with platform standards and program objectives. – Development Management: Construct, refine, and prioritize the product backlog in Azure DevOps; draft functional specifications, author User Stories, and establish acceptance criteria; facilitate Agile ceremonies; and serve as the primary liaison for technical teams, validating delivered functionalities. – Enhancement Delivery Management: Oversee integration projects and product evolutions; produce progress reports, track risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans; prepare governance materials; support decision-making; contribute to roadmap execution; coordinate testing phases; and ensure resolution of defects. – Performance Monitoring & Transition to RUN: Collaborate with RUN teams to monitor solution performance, identify improvement opportunities, and oversee the production of functional documentation—ensuring seamless handover
