ICU – Istituto per la Cooperazione Universitaria – est une organisation non gouvernementale internationale italienne, reconnue par la Commission européenne et le ministère italien des Affaires étrangères, fondée en 1966. ICU met en œuvre des projets de coopération au développement dans les pays en développement et favorise l'information et l'éducation sur les questions de solidarité internationale. ICU est active en Jordanie depuis 1999.
Le projet « AMAL – Improved Access to Work for vulnerable Syrian refugees and Jordanians in the governorates of Amman, Zarqa and Karak » (AID 013186/01/0) est mis en œuvre par ICU (candidat et coordinateur global) en partenariat avec Save the Children Jordan (SCJ) et Athar for Youth Development, et est financé par l'Agence italienne pour la coopération au développement (AICS). AMAL améliore l'accès stable et durable à un revenu pour les réfugiés syriens et les Jordaniens vulnérables – avec un accent sur les femmes, les jeunes (18-35 ans) et les personnes handicapées – dans les gouvernorats d'Amman, Zarqa et Karak. Le projet combine une formation professionnelle (TVET) alignée sur le marché, des allocations de formation, des stages rémunérés et un appariement d'emplois avec des subventions et un soutien adapté aux micro, petites et moyennes entreprises (MPME), ainsi que l'engagement actif des institutions publiques, du secteur privé et des organisations communautaires pour favoriser une croissance économique inclusive et durable. L'objectif global de l'action : contribuer à l'autonomisation économique et au renforcement de la résilience des réfugiés syriens et des Jordaniens vulnérables en Jordanie.
Objectif spécifique et résultats attendus
Objectif spécifique : les réfugiés syriens et les Jordaniens vulnérables – en particulier les femmes, les jeunes et les personnes handicapées – dans les gouvernorats d'Amman, Zarqa et Karak obtiennent un revenu stable provenant d'un emploi ou d'un travail indépendant grâce au développement de compétences alignées sur le marché et au renforcement des MPME.
Résultats attendus :
R.1 Renforcement des compétences techniques, pratiques et professionnelles requises par le marché du travail local parmi les réfugiés syriens et les Jordaniens vulnérables, avec une attention particulière aux jeunes, aux femmes et aux personnes handicapées.
R.2 Promotion de l'entrepreneuriat inclusif et durable, contribuant au renforcement des micro, petites et moyennes entreprises (MPME).
R.3 Renforcement de l'activation et de la participation du secteur public, du secteur privé et des associations communautaires pour promouvoir une croissance économique inclusive et durable.
