Job Summary Purpose of the role: To oversee and nurture a dedicated portfolio comprising Local Large Corporations (LLC) and Regional Corporates (RC) within the banking sector. As a senior leader within the Corporate Banking Team, you will be responsible for driving business performance within your designated market segment. Sharing expertise and providing coaching to corporate team members. To cultivate and maintain a portfolio of Corporate Banking clients, with a dedicated emphasis on Large Corporate customers, by fostering enduring relationships grounded in prompt, risk-aware decision-making and consistently high-quality operational service. This role involves managing these relationships personally to ensure efficient, reliable support tailored to their business needs. The role’s core aim is to optimize portfolio contributions on a risk-adjusted basis, ensuring balanced support for all entities while mitigating the bank’s reputation risk exposure. The position involves expanding business opportunities by cultivating relationships with new clients while also deepening engagements with current clients to maximize revenue potential. The successful candidate must cultivate a deep understanding of the local corporate landscape across various industries, along with relevant regulatory frameworks, while possessing the capability to engage with senior corporate leadership to negotiate financial transactions effectively. Main accountabilities and approximate time split Sales and Service: 40% Enhance the profitability of the industry and segment portfolio by uncovering untapped potential among new and existing customers, while also capitalizing on sales prospects and advancing initiatives for new product promotion. Develop strategic business development initiatives and objectives tailored to the specific industry or market segment, ensuring alignment with evolving market demands. Monitor adherence to industry and segment standards through the implementation of innovative relationship development protocols. Monitor customer survey results to ensure alignment with established service quality benchmarks for your industry or specific segment.
Track and analyze complaint volumes and the quality of resolution within the assigned industry/segment portfolio. Conduct thorough, proactive market and competitive analysis to identify emerging threats and opportunities across relevant segments and geographic regions. Deliver all critical communications to customers, ensuring they are informed of established service standards, finalized pricing agreements, designated relationship team
