A probationary CCTV Operator position is available in Kampala, Uganda, with a six-month duration. This role does not involve direct reports but will report to the IT Lead or Channel Lead. The CCTV Operator is tasked with overseeing and managing closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems and associated equipment to safeguard the organization’s facilities, assets, employees, and guests. The operator must promptly escalate any suspicious behavior, incidents, or technical issues to the relevant personnel while ensuring detailed and precise documentation of all observed events. Key duties encompass leading cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while fostering collaboration across departments. Responsibilities include analyzing performance metrics to identify trends, optimizing operational workflows, and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance efficiency. Additional tasks involve overseeing budget adherence, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Regularly inspect CCTV systems to identify and document any malfunctions or technical issues for prompt resolution and reporting. Safeguard the privacy and security of all recordings and sensitive information at all times. Provide pertinent footage and documentation to support investigative efforts.
