Coordinate logistical and operational support for ecological monitoring initiatives in collaboration with the Ecology/Research team. Coordinate the logistical aspects of wildlife collaring initiatives, overseeing transportation arrangements, provision of necessary equipment, and ensuring comprehensive field support throughout the collaring process. The organization will provide necessary resources, training, and ongoing support to ensure field teams performing conservation management tasks are fully equipped and prepared for their roles. Efficiently oversee the logistics of vehicle operations and fleet administration to ensure optimal performance and compliance with transportation regulations. Responsible for managing the procurement and strategic deployment of a vehicle fleet specifically designed to meet operational terrain requirements. By the conclusion of the startup phase, the Field Operations Manager will have implemented a comprehensive logistical system to uphold operational continuity, fortify infrastructure resilience, and optimize resource allocation within the Protected Area. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. A minimum of three years of experience in software development, preferably with expertise in Java, Python, or C++.
