We're looking for Mozambican experts or partner firms/organizations (contingent on funding) Mozambique Up to 3 years MAGENTA is building a team/consortium in Mozambique to provide C4D services for an inclusive transition to a climate-resilient and low-carbon economy.
We're looking for local experts and partners who will play an active co-lead role in implementation and knowledge transfer, ensuring contextual accuracy, operational continuity, cost-efficiency, and sustainable local capacity in Mozambique. Proficiency in local languages, mediation skills, and experience in conflict-sensitive community engagement are required. Minimum requirements: at least 7 years of cumulated relevant professional experience in communication, C4D, or SBCC; demonstrated experience working with Mozambican public institutions, municipalities, or civil society organisations. Senior local profiles operating with a high degree of autonomy. Typical contributions include: Communication strategy design and institutional communication advisory; Design and delivery of C4D training and capacity-building for local stakeholders; Technical supervision and quality review of communication outputs; Level 2 – Local Operational and Technical Field Support Minimum requirements: at least 4 years of cumulated relevant professional experience; demonstrated field experience in communication, community mobilisation, or media in Mozambique. Operational profiles providing hands-on field and production support. Typical contributions include: Community engagement facilitation and co-creation session support; Field coordination of communication campaigns, events, and outreach activities;
Localisation
Translation, localisation, and pre-testing of communication materials in field settings; Level 3 – Local Field Outreach and Data Collection Support Minimum requirements: at least 1 year of relevant field experience; demonstrated ability to conduct structured community outreach, data collection, or facilitation under supervision. Entry-level field profiles for clearly defined, standardised, and supervised tasks. Typical contributions include: Household, community, or user surveys and structured data collection; Community outreach, awareness-raising, and material distribution under supervision; Logistical support to consultations, trainings, and community events;
