We are seeking a dynamic individual for this full-time, on-site position located at KN 3 Avenue, Kigali, Rwanda, to enhance guest experiences through engaging recreational activities. Responsibilities include designing activity schedules and promotional materials using publishing software, maintaining accurate inventories of supplies and equipment, and promptly reporting any shortages to management. You will actively engage with guests by encouraging participation, handling registrations and scheduling, and fostering a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. Your role will involve providing clear guidance on facility rules, safety protocols, and available amenities while ensuring compliance with all regulations for guest and member welfare. In the event of emergencies or safety concerns—such as guests unable to participate or injuries—you will respond swiftly in accordance with established procedures, offering assistance until professional medical help arrives. Maintaining cleanliness and proper functioning of recreational equipment and areas will also be essential, along with supporting training initiatives, motivating staff, and adhering to company policies with a professional demeanor. Additional duties include documenting accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions; completing mandatory safety training and certifications; and upholding confidentiality while protecting company assets. You will deliver exceptional service by anticipating guest needs, including those with disabilities, communicating clearly and courteously, handling transactions efficiently, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Some responsibilities may require physical demands, such as standing for extended periods, lifting objects up to 25 pounds independently (or up to 50 pounds with assistance), maneuvering in tight spaces, navigating uneven surfaces, and performing repetitive motions. Proficiency in computer systems and point-of-sale platforms will be necessary for data entry and order processing. Candidates should possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of relevant experience, and prior supervisory experience. Required certifications include CPR, First Aid, and any local/state-mandated recreation or fitness equipment credentials. As part of Marriott International’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, we welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are dedicated to fostering an equitable workplace where every associate can thrive. •Never pay any amount of money — for a file, a training, a uniform, or an interview. A real employer never asks the candidate to pay.
•Never send a photo of your ID card, passport, or banking details before you have physically verified the employer exists.
•Always meet in a public place, during the day — never an isolated address, a private home, or a location you cannot verify in advance.
•Tell a relative or friend exactly where you are going, with whom, and at what time — and share your live location if possible.
•Search the company name online before going: a real business has a trace (website, reviews, other employees, an official address).
•A salary that is far above the market rate for the position and the city is a red flag — be extra cautious.
