The Accountant is tasked with maintaining the Company’s financial records and ensuring precise financial reporting that adheres to accounting standards, statutory obligations, and internal policies. This position oversees routine accounting functions, such as financial reporting, reconciliations, inventory accounting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance, while providing management with timely financial insights to facilitate informed decision-making. Key Qualifications and Competencies Obtained a Grade 12 Certificate with a minimum of five (5) credits, each at a passing grade or higher. A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent discipline is required. Earned professional credentials including ARCA, CIA, CPA, or an equivalent qualification. Minimum of 5–10 years’ Seasoned professionals with a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, inventory accounting, and financial management are encouraged to apply. Experience at a supervisory or managerial level is required. Registered member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA). Proficiency in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and a comprehensive understanding of Zambian tax regulations are essential. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information and identify effective solutions. Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
