This position oversees a team of Zonal ICT Specialists, manages branch ICT operations, handles incident management and service delivery, monitors vendor performance, ensures SLA compliance, oversees ICT asset management, leads branch technology projects, and drives continuous improvement in branch technology services to enhance business operations and customer service delivery. Principle Responsibilities Lead and oversee ICT support functions across all branches and zones, guaranteeing the seamless availability and reliability of branch ICT services and infrastructure.

Develop and oversee branch ICT service standards, operational procedures, and ongoing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance branch technology support services. Provide strategic direction, mentorship, coaching, performance oversight, technical skill enhancement, and succession planning for Zonal ICT Specialists. Effectively distribute resources across various zones while maintaining optimal workload management and ensuring comprehensive operational coverage in every branch. Oversee the resolution of critical branch ICT incidents and service outages, maintaining timely escalation and resolution to meet established service targets. Monitor service delivery performance and evaluate the effectiveness of branch support, analyzing recurring incidents and establishing permanent corrective measures to ensure sustained improvement. Provide leadership and direction in the management of branch ICT infrastructure, end-user devices, office equipment, branch connectivity solutions, ATMs, POS devices, and associated technology services, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance. Ensure that all technology environments within the branch adhere to established standards, organizational policies, regulatory mandates, and information security protocols. Coordinate technology upgrade initiatives, infrastructure enhancement programs, and ICT projects specific to branch operations—such as relocations, new branch openings, refurbishments, and system deployments—ensuring seamless execution and alignment with organizational objectives. Oversee branch technology service providers and support vendors, track supplier performance relative to contracted Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and enforce corrective measures for unresolved issues. Ensure the proficient administration of branch ICT assets and inventory throughout the Bank, encompassing strategic planning, seamless deployment, routine maintenance, timely replacement, systematic retirement, and precise record-keeping.
Lead the execution of security controls, address audit findings, and facilitate ICT risk assessments and business continuity efforts that impact branch operations. Provide assistance to business units throughout the execution of branch technology initiatives and enhancements to operational processes.
Foster robust partnerships with Branch Managers, Zonal Managers, Operations teams, and ICT stakeholders to enhance service delivery efficiency.
Champion operational excellence throughout branch ICT support operations to deliver efficient, dependable, and customer-centric technology services. Qualifications Required A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, information systems, telecommunications, or a closely related discipline is required. A minimum of five years of experience in ICT operations or technical support is required, ideally within the banking sector.
ICT Service Management ITILv3 certifications Professional Microsoft and/or networking certifications, along with management or leadership qualifications, will enhance your candidacy. Proven expertise in overseeing branch technology operations, end-user computing, vendor support services, or distributed ICT environments is essential. Experienced in thriving within high-pressure, team-oriented incident management settings that demand rapid response and strict adherence to deadlines, adept at juggling numerous priorities without compromising efficiency or quality of output. Demonstrates extensive expertise in ICT infrastructure, end-user computing, network management, and branch connectivity. Proven expertise in Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management, with a strong background in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery practices. Demonstrated expertise in leadership and team management, paired with exceptional stakeholder engagement, clear communication, and polished executive presentation abilities. Demonstrated expertise in managing ICT services and operations, coordinating projects, composing reports, analyzing data, and making informed decisions.
