The position holder is expected to consistently maintain the following responsibilities: Reporting to the Cost Controller, you will assist in coordinating, executing, and overseeing the Project Cost Control function. Your responsibilities will include preparing, analyzing, evaluating, processing, and presenting data and documentation pertaining to the project budget and cost control activities. Manage and record the commitments’ data, with a primary emphasis on the following responsibilities: Responsibilities include gathering and processing timesheets, travel expense data, and all relevant documentation for team members and contractors. Track and document all project-related invoices within the project cost control system to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with established accounting procedures. Prepare estimates and manage budgets throughout every phase of the project lifecycle to ensure financial alignment and accountability. Engage actively in the development and delivery of cost-related initiatives before multiple governmental entities. Assist in organizing and conducting subcommittee meetings, including logistical arrangements and delivering presentations as required. Assist with compiling and preparing comprehensive Cost Control reports ensuring accurate and timely financial documentation. Assist in the oversight and management of project expenditures as part of the Monitoring and Control process. Conduct thorough evaluations of contractor estimates to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements on behalf of the project. Assist in managing and entering commitment data, specifically invoices, to ensure accurate and timely processing.

Support in analyzing cost trends to identify patterns and inform strategic decision-making. Deliver comprehensive scrutiny of cost inputs provided by colleagues, ensuring thorough evaluation and validation of all financial data submitted. File cost control documents in adherence to the established document filing system. Applicants must possess a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in the field, along with a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
