We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Lusaka. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse/store, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining a safe and organized working environment. This is a critical role supporting our logistics and supply chain efficiency. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes (LPOs). Organize and store items systematically to optimize space and ensure easy retrieval. Issue materials and equipment strictly based on authorized requisition forms. Maintain accurate inventory records using both manual logbooks (Bin Cards) and basic computer systems (Excel/ERP). Conduct regular stock counts (daily/weekly/monthly) and reconcile physical stock with system records. Ensure the warehouse is clean, orderly, and compliant with health and safety standards. Prepare reports on stock levels, damaged goods, and discrepancies. Coordinate with procurement, finance, and project teams to ensure timely availability of materials. Qualifications and Requirements Full Grade 12 Certificate Diploma or Certificate in Stores Management, Logistics, Procurement or a related field. 1–2 years in a busy warehouse, stores, or logistics environment. Strong knowledge of inventory management procedures and documentation. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer literacy. Excellent physical condition; able to lift heavy items where necessary. Organized, high level of integrity, honesty, accountability and able to work with minimum supervision. Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory for communication and reporting. Available for weekends/late nights during peak event season. Must be based in Lusaka.
