This role is designed to glorify God by overseeing the execution of Water Mission’s Living Water program strategy within the Country Program, alongside complementary Health & Hygiene and Micro-enterprise & Sustainability initiatives, in strict adherence to established standards and procedures. The position necessitates residing at the designated duty station and undertaking frequent travel to remote project sites to facilitate program implementation and other Community Development efforts. As a member of the Water Mission team, the Evangelism and Discipleship Officer cultivates a workplace culture rooted in a biblical worldview, fostering God-honoring excellence across all responsibilities.   • Enhance and refine the Living Water curriculum, along with supplementary training and educational resources. Share the gospel of Jesus Christ to bring transformative change to communities through various outreach initiatives, such as film screenings depicting His life, fellowship gatherings, outdoor crusades, and prayer sessions in community centers, hospitals, and schools. The position involves disseminating Living Water resources, including Messengers, Light streams, USB/flash media, SD cards, books, and pamphlets, as well as deploying gospel media streaming devices in designated projects. Organize and deliver comprehensive training sessions on Equity & Diversity (E&D) as well as Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) for Water Mission staff, WASH stakeholders, pastors, and interdenominational religious leaders across all project locations.
  • Equip pastors and church leaders with training and essential resources to support their daily worship practices and sermon preparation.
  • Oversee the scheduling and facilitation of mission teams and ministry partner meetings in collaboration with strategic partners. Actively engage in the planning and implementation of project commissioning ceremonies, milestone celebrations, and graduation events, ensuring each event reflects the organization’s values and objectives. Mobilize and support local churches to effectively implement Integral Mission within their communities.

Facilitate the establishment of a Safe Water Committee (SWC), WASH, and school representatives, ensuring alignment with a Christian worldview throughout the formation process. We design and implement training programs and curriculum development initiatives to enhance employee skills and organizational performance. This role requires expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and the ability to develop engaging, results-driven training materials. Key responsibilities include assessing training needs, designing curriculum frameworks, creating interactive learning experiences, evaluating program effectiveness, and collaborating with stakeholders to align training with business objectives. Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), e-learning tools, and multimedia content creation is essential. Strong project management and communication skills are also required to ensure seamless execution and stakeholder engagement throughout the training lifecycle. Develop innovative training materials designed to elevate spiritual growth and ensure alignment with standardized objectives across all initiatives, including facilitator guides for pastors’ workshops, inductive Bible study resources, and curricula for marriage seminars. Review Living Water materials to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement and propose strategic improvements to the Director of Living Water. To plan and facilitate seminars and pastors’ workshops in designated project areas on a consistent basis, while also organizing monthly, quarterly, and annual follow-up sessions to assess and evaluate Living Water initiatives.   • Design and propose tools and strategies aimed at fostering staff spiritual growth. Compile prayer ripples and submit them to the Head Office upon request.

  • Deliver comprehensive emotional, physical, and spiritual support, along with counseling and discipleship services, to staff members. Collaborate with external preachers, teachers, speakers, and pastors to facilitate alignment during staff meetings and prayer sessions. Assist the HR Department in the recruitment process by evaluating spiritual references and conducting spiritual interviews with applicants. Prepare weekly work plans and monthly reports summarizing the outcomes of Living Water initiatives, ensuring they are completed promptly and submitted for review and approval by the direct supervisor. We compile quarterly, monthly, project-specific, and donor reports that feature photographs, testimonials, water quality follow-up data, and the most impactful program-related stories. Prepare detailed field activity reports and capture corresponding photographs for all projects across the country on a regular basis. Supports program operations and ensures adherence to compliance standards through meticulous coordination and oversight. Maintains accurate documentation, monitors regulatory requirements, and facilitates seamless program execution. Collaborates with stakeholders to identify compliance gaps, recommend corrective actions, and implement policies. Conducts regular audits and assessments to verify adherence to legal and organizational guidelines.
