The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research in geophysics, with a focus on understanding the Earth’s natural resources and mitigating the effects of climate change. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Geophysics and at least 8 years of experience in the field. They will be responsible for designing and implementing research projects, collecting and analyzing data, and publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals. The successful candidate will also be responsible for collaborating with other scientists and experts within the BGS and with external partners, and for communicating research findings to stakeholders.
