With a strong commitment to sustainability, we are seeking a talented Sustainable Materials Scientist to join our team in Rulindo, Rwanda. Job Overview: As a Sustainable Materials Scientist at Albemarle Corporation, you will play a critical role in developing innovative materials solutions that minimize environmental impact while maximizing performance. You will work closely with our R&D team to design, test, and implement sustainable materials that meet the needs of our customers. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement sustainable materials solutions that meet customer needs and minimize environmental impact Collaborate with R&D team to design, test, and implement new materials and processes Conduct life cycle assessments and environmental impact studies to inform material selection and development Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure seamless material supply chain Required Skills: Master’s degree in Materials Science or related field 8-12 years of experience in materials science or related field Strong understanding of sustainable materials and their applications Excellent communication and collaboration skills Experience with life cycle assessments and environmental impact studies Education: Masters degree in Materials Science or related field from a reputable university Experience: 8-12 years of experience in materials science or related field, with a strong focus on sustainable materials and their applications Salary: 4,500,000 – 6,000,000 SSP per annum Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional growth and development Collaborative and dynamic work environment Access to state-of-the-art research facilities and equipment Training: Albemarle Corporation offers a comprehensive training program to support the development of our employees.
