Key roles and responsibilities The Process Operator will be tasked with executing a range of operational duties, including overseeing production processes, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and monitoring equipment performance. Responsibilities will encompass performing routine inspections, conducting quality checks, and troubleshooting any deviations in the workflow. Additionally, the role will require maintaining accurate records, responding to operational alerts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize efficiency and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Performs machine operations, encompassing start-up, shut-down, and routine running procedures, along with associated tasks.
• Carrying out brand pack changes.
• Performing autonomous maintenance. Regularly inspecting and verifying equipment to confirm proper configuration and functionality.
• Monitoring process performance. Spearheading the development, training, and mentoring of operational teams to uphold peak performance and operational excellence. Assisting with troubleshooting and resolving issues within the designated process area to ensure operational efficiency and continuity. Delivering expertise to support all ongoing enhancement initiatives focused on elevating process capability within the designated plant or operational area.
• Coaching and assessing staff as required. Ensuring a secure and health-conscious workplace is a priority. Minimum requirements Applicants must meet the following requirements: A diploma or degree in either Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required for this role.

Expérience

• Ability to work shifts. Conduct a comprehensive summative evaluation on a minimum of two machines to ensure thorough analysis and assessment of their performance and functionality. A minimum of three years’ hands-on experience within a packaging process environment is required.

• Strong problem-solving ability.

Formation / Diplômes

• Manual dexterity. Demonstrated success in achieving SAB targets or a history of delivering strong performance in similar roles.
