ROLE PURPOSE The Site Health Quality & Compliance Coordinator will play a key role in overseeing and enhancing quality assurance, compliance, clinical governance, and administrative oversight across occupational health facilities and first aid stations at both the Kansas and Sentinel mine sites. The position demands a meticulous, self-motivated professional with exceptional organizational skills, capable of diligently tracking follow-ups, upholding compliance standards, overseeing audit processes, preserving precise documentation, and proactively identifying, escalating, and resolving discrepancies. This role involves close collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and Quality Assurance teams. Manager To guarantee that site health services maintain compliance, seamless coordination, audit readiness, and alignment with MBHS standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, reliability, and meticulous organization, backed by robust clinical expertise and the capacity to balance competing demands within a high-pressure healthcare setting. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Accomplished healthcare professional with proven expertise in administrative functions, quality assurance methodologies, or regulatory compliance within a clinical or healthcare setting. A background in healthcare administration would be considered a valuable asset. Professional registration and a valid license to practice with the Health Professions Council of Zimbabwe (HPCZ) and/or the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zimbabwe (NMCZ) are essential prerequisites for this role.

EXPERIENCE

REQUIREMENTS Minimum of six years of direct clinical experience is required. Minimum 2 years of professional experience in healthcare quality assurance, facility audits, clinical leadership, administration, compliance, accreditation, or healthcare operations is required. Professional healthcare experience, particularly in occupational health, emergency care, or first aid station management, along with familiarity with healthcare facility accreditation processes, will be considered advantageous. KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES We oversee quality assurance protocols and ensure strict adherence to compliance standards. Additionally, we conduct comprehensive audits to verify that all processes align with regulatory requirements and company policies. Furthermore, we implement corrective actions as needed to maintain operational integrity and mitigate risks. Oversee quality assurance initiatives spanning occupational health facilities and first aid stations to ensure consistent standards and compliance. Facilitate systematic facility audits and clinical compliance assessments in alignment with the MBHS Comprehensive Audit Planner. Ensure adherence to MBHS standards, client specifications, national healthcare regulations, and all applicable statutory requirements enforced by entities such as the Health Professions Council of Zimbabwe (HPCZ), Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zimbabwe (NMCZ), Zimbabwe Association of Medical Rehabilitation Assistants (ZAMORA), Radiation Protection Authority (RPA), and other relevant regulatory bodies. Monitor audit findings, designate responsible parties for each, track progress on corrective action plans, and confirm the resolution of all non-conformances. Maintain and update quality dashboards, registers, and compliance trackers to facilitate ongoing quality improvement initiatives. Maintain the currency, accessibility, and implementation of SOPs, standards, policies, forms, and other controlled documents. Compile monthly reports on quality and compliance metrics to be submitted to the Chief Medical Officer and the Quality Assurance Manager. Escalate any instances of recurring non-compliance, heightened risk exposure, or prolonged delays in resolution to management for review. Provide assistance with clinical governance meetings, management reviews, inspections, and accreditation processes. Occupational Health Facility and First Aid Station Oversight Support involves providing administrative and operational assistance to ensure the smooth functioning of workplace health and safety facilities. This role includes maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, coordinating staff schedules, and managing inventory of medical supplies and equipment. Responsibilities also encompass assisting with incident reporting, facilitating employee health screenings, and supporting emergency response protocols. Additionally, the position requires liaising with healthcare providers, occupational health specialists, and external agencies to uphold a safe and compliant work environment. Assist in establishing and maintaining compliance with quality standards at occupational health facilities and first aid stations through systematic implementation and ongoing monitoring efforts. Perform both routine and impromptu assessments to verify that facilities meet cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards, maintain adequate supplies, and remain fully operational. Maintain comprehensive registers for licenses, certifications, equipment servicing schedules, emergency equipment inspections, consumables inventory, incident reports, training records, and compliance-related activities. Monitor the operational status and reliability of critical equipment, emergency response assets, and clinical supplies to ensure readiness and compliance with standards. Coordinate all follow-ups pertaining to maintenance, procurement, equipment servicing, and facility-related matters to ensure timely resolution and operational efficiency. Document any identified deficiencies, maintain a log of their progress, and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner. As the SHE and QHSE Focal Point, your primary role involves overseeing the implementation of safety, health, and environmental (SHE) standards, as well as quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) management systems across the organization. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Key duties include conducting risk assessments, investigating incidents, and facilitating training programs to enhance employee awareness and competency in Age-related matters. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address SHE and QHSE concerns, monitor performance metrics, and report on progress to senior management. Your position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Facilitate the successful execution of the Company’s HSE and QHSE standards across all designated MBHS responsibilities. Assess the workplace environment to identify potential hazards affecting staff, facility, or patient safety, and promptly report any risks to the appropriate personnel. Promptly address any QHSE issues, suggestions, or recommendations identified through audits, inspections, or operational activities. Assess potential infection prevention hazards and collaborate with appropriate teams to implement corrective measures. Conduct investigations into outbreaks or incidents associated with healthcare-associated infections. Deliver or organize instructional sessions for staff members regarding infection prevention and control protocols and procedures. Engage actively in infection control committees and compile comprehensive reports detailing infection control initiatives and outcomes.
