ROLE PURPOSE The Site Health Quality & Compliance Coordinator provides leadership and oversight in ensuring quality assurance, compliance, clinical governance, and administrative control at occupational health facilities and first aid stations across both the Kansas and Sentinel mine sites. Professional registration and a valid license to practice issued by the Health Professions Council of Zimbabwe (HPCZ) and/or the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zimbabwe (NMCZ) are currently required.
EXPERIENCE
REQUIREMENTS With a minimum of six years of hands-on clinical experience, candidates must demonstrate a strong foundation in practical healthcare delivery. A minimum of two years of professional experience in healthcare quality assurance, facility audits, clinical leadership, administration, compliance, accreditation, or healthcare operations is required. Proficiency in occupational health, emergency care management, first aid station supervision, or healthcare facility accreditation processes is considered advantageous. KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES Quality Assurance and Compliance responsibilities involve ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, industry best practices, and organizational policies. Key tasks include conducting thorough audits, identifying potential risks, and implementing corrective measures to mitigate non-compliance. Review and maintain the currency, accessibility, and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, standards, forms, and other controlled documents. Compilation of monthly quality and compliance reports is required for submission to both the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and the Quality Assurance Manager. Escalate instances of persistent non-compliance, potential risks, or prolonged delays in resolution to the appropriate management level for review and action. Facilitate the coordination of clinical governance meetings, oversee management reviews, participate in inspections, and assist with accreditation activities. Occupational Health Facility and First Aid Station Management Support Assist in the establishment and ongoing evaluation of quality standards within occupational health facilities and first aid stations.
