Position Overview The Construction Technician will evaluate designated sites to determine appropriate locations for establishing a Jazz Hub or Shop. This position involves securing service locations through lease agreements, performing necessary renovations, and installing all essential assets to finalize the acquisition process. The Construction Technician is instrumental in converting validated sites into fully operational Jazz locations, ensuring compliance with rigorous quality benchmarks and fulfilling acquisition objectives. Accountabilities The Construction Technician will undertake a range of critical responsibilities, including: Conduct thorough on-site evaluations of all designated locations to pinpoint viable service areas suitable for establishing a Jazz Hub or Shop. Conduct comprehensive site acquisition processes, encompassing site evaluation, lease negotiation, renovation, and installation tasks as needed. Follow the clearly defined acquisition process meticulously to ensure the rework rate for all acquisition actions remains at or below 5%. To guarantee adherence to and maintenance of quality standards throughout the stages of site acquisition, renovation, and installation, meticulous oversight is required. Oversee communications and agreements with vendors, contractors, and landlords throughout the designated area to ensure seamless collaboration and adherence to contractual obligations. Responsibilities Site Assessment and Leasing Process The Construction Technician will be expected to: Conduct comprehensive site evaluations to determine potential service locations and submit recommendations for approval.

• Manage lease agreement negotiations while strictly adhering to budgetary constraints. Issue leases and ensure all related documentation is accurately prepared, completed, and filed in accordance with established procedures. Develop and sustain strategic partnerships with essential stakeholders throughout the leasing process. Renovation and Installation Process The Construction Technician will oversee renovation and installation projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to specification. This role involves coordinating tasks, monitoring progress, and addressing any challenges that arise during the process. The technician will work closely with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Additionally, the position requires adherence to project timelines, budget constraints, and compliance with relevant regulations. Assessing each location and compiling a comprehensive list of all required renovations, then effectively communicating these details to relevant stakeholders. Responsibilities include identifying and coordinating with necessary vendors or contractors to facilitate the process. To uphold rigorous quality control standards, it is essential to consistently adhere to and maintain established protocols throughout every phase of the renovation and installation process. Ensuring strict adherence to all corporate policies governing asset requests and shipment procedures is essential for the proper installation of Hub or Shop furniture. Conducting thorough assessments to verify that newly acquired sites comply with all structural integrity and safety standards prior to commissioning. Quality Assurance The Construction Technician will uphold quality standards by ensuring all work adheres to established guidelines and specifications. This role involves performing routine inspections, verifying compliance with safety protocols, and addressing any deviations promptly. Additionally, the technician will assist in documenting work progress, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with project teams to resolve issues efficiently. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to precision are essential for this position. The incumbent is responsible for upholding the organization’s established quality standards throughout the acquisition process, ensuring strict adherence to predefined benchmarks and criteria.
• Identifying potential issues that could impact quality assurance and proposing corrective actions to address them. Ensuring the meticulous completion and timely submission of all quality assurance documentation is crucial to this role.
• Ensure the rework rate for acquisition steps remains at or below 5% by strictly adhering to all prescribed acquisition procedures. Reporting and Communication The Construction Technician will be required to: Submit consistent progress reports to the Construction Engineer regarding acquisition developments.

Deliver acquisition-related data and key insights to the expansion team during scheduled meetings. The incumbent is responsible for documenting and reporting essential performance indicators, such as the number of sites leased, sites acquired, the rework rate, and the monthly site rental rate. Handle any critical issues that could potentially impact acquisition timelines or compromise quality standards. Assist in enhancing the acquisition criteria and processes. Communication Qualifications and Experience Applicants must fulfill the specified qualifications and possess the required experience to be considered for this position.
