Key purpose of the role This position is primarily responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and enhancements on plant equipment and related systems to uphold operational reliability, product excellence, and cost efficiency without compromising compliance with established standards. Key roles and responsibilities The Packaging Process Artisan will undertake a range of duties, including the following responsibilities: Maintain, repair, and enhance plant machinery and related equipment to guarantee operational efficiency and product excellence at the lowest possible expense while adhering to established standards.

• Identify and retrieve plant, equipment, spares, and associated documentation or systems. Perform repairs, maintenance tasks, or extensive maintenance operations as required. Continuously enhance and refine plant operations, process equipment, and system efficiency to drive performance improvements and operational excellence.
• Operate plant and process equipment. Conduct thorough plant inspections or manage maintenance schedules to detect existing issues or anticipate potential challenges.
• Safely operate packaging machines.
• Ensure the production process is closely observed and regulated to maintain a consistent, high-quality while optimizing cost efficiency.
• Run and shut down the machine. Perform routine maintenance tasks and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and promptly. Verify the operational readiness of the equipment before use. Ensure a secure and hygienic workplace for all employees.
• Apply the VPO principles and practices.

Expérience

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering. A minimum of two to three months of practical training on the job is required. Ideally, candidates should complete a three- to six-month on-the-job training program to fully acclimate to the role and company standards. Seeking candidates with one to two years of hands-on experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate well.
