Summary of Position Purpose: The HR Officer ensures the seamless execution of human resource functions, aligning them with the objectives of the Action Against Hunger Tanzania Country Office while maintaining full compliance with regulatory standards. Engagement: The HR Officer collaborates closely with the Finance and Administration Manager, technical and support department heads, regional HR teams, and all country office staff to ensure the seamless provision of HR services and adherence to organizational standards. This role involves ongoing coordination with Finance on payroll execution, regulatory compliance, staff benefits management, and audit obligations. The role involves providing support to managers and staff on HR policies, performance management processes, recruitment coordination, onboarding procedures, employee relations, learning and development initiatives, and staff welfare matters. Additionally, the HR Officer interacts with external stakeholders such as government labor offices, statutory bodies, insurance providers, training institutions, and recruitment partners.

Prepare statutory deduction schedules and generate payroll reports in compliance with regulatory requirements. Facilitate the prompt and accurate filing of all tax obligations and mandatory statutory contributions.
