Job summary Taboo Consult Limited is in search of a meticulous, highly organized, and seasoned Cashier to enhance the team of its client based in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will possess a strong track record in dynamic settings, showcasing expertise in handling customer transactions, overseeing cash management, and facilitating internal invoicing processes. Key responsibilities Accurately process all customer payments, whether in cash, by card, or through digital methods, and provide precise receipts accordingly. Prepare, generate, and validate professional invoices in accordance with purchase orders or goods received documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures. Reconcile cash drawers on a daily basis and maintain meticulous records of petty cash transactions to ensure precision and accountability. Maintain accurate and current transaction ledgers while supporting the preparation of daily or weekly financial reports as needed. Demonstrate consistently courteous, professional, and cooperative conduct across all engagements with clients and team members. Candidate requirements With a minimum of three years of experience in a similar invoicing or cashiering position. Demonstrated expertise in roles within either a supermarket or banking setting is required. Proficiency in utilizing the Tally accounting software would be considered a valuable asset.
Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with advanced skills in spreadsheet management, formula application, and data analysis. Key competencies Demonstrates a keen aptitude for precise numerical computations and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring flawless execution of tasks that demand accuracy. A demonstrated commitment to strong ethical principles and unwavering reliability is essential.
