Overview Our client, an FMCG company in Tema, is seeking to hire a Female Business Development Officer on an urgent basis. Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences Marketing Experience in FMCG / Food Industry

Expérience

• Experience in food, frozen food, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
• Experience with product promotions in retail markets, supermarkets, and local marketplaces. Knowledge of the Ghanaian Market
• Understanding of local consumer habits for chicken, beef, and fish.
• Experience working with Ghanaian food vendors, wholesalers, retailers, and consumers. Gender Preference

Compétences requises

• Female candidates (since you specified this). Digital Marketing Skills (Optional but powerful)
• Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp marketing).
• Ability to run simple campaigns (local promotions, offers, etc.).
• Content creation for food marketing (photos, videos). Sales Support Skills
• Ability to support sales teams with materials and market research.
• Customer engagement: Can confidently talk to customers, vendors, or distributors. Communication Skills
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• English fluency and local language skills (Twi, Ga, Ewe) are a bonus. Creativity and Initiative
• Can suggest new ideas for promoting frozen products in Ghanaian markets.
• Ability to organise and attend marketing events, food fairs, or sampling sessions. Team Player
• Can work closely with your sales and distribution teams.
