Job Summary: Ensure effective supervision of inventory management through verification, documentation, and reporting, and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

Main Responsibilities:
Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational programs, policies, and procedures. Strategically manage the warehouse in accordance with company policies and vision. Protect warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols. Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling them with the data storage system. Maintain the inventory control system and plan for future capacity needs. Manage warehouse space efficiently. Ensure warehouse operational needs by planning and assigning employees, and following up on work results. Maintain warehouse staff results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, and by planning, monitoring, and appraising results. Maintain health, safety, hygiene, and security standards, for example by ensuring that stock such as chemicals is stored safely. Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to achieve and exceed productivity and efficiency targets. Brief team leaders on daily issues. Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Train loaders and monitor their performance and progress. Communicate with other departments. Execute management directives and objectives. Ensure maximum warehouse utilization. Receive stock and ensure its availability. Protect stock from the elements. Apply administrative systems and procedures. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Ensure stock rotation. Optimize team performance. Maintain standard operating procedures for goods. Achieve good warehouse keeping practices. Regularly provide stock of goods to finance. Keep adequate accounting of all goods transactions. Foster teamwork with subordinates. Maintain a fraud- and theft-free warehouse. Handle and report slow-moving, obsolete, and damaged products with care.
Additional Responsibilities: Any other tasks that may be assigned by management.
Desired Profile:
Minimum HND/Degree in logistics, proficiency in spoken and written English for completing official documents. Proficient in Microsoft Excel for sorting stock data. Previous warehouse experience in the fertilizer, agrochemical industry.
