The Ministry of Youth and Civic Education (MINJEC), in partnership with the Islamic Charity Foundation for Education and Social Welfare (ICFESW), is launching a call for applications for the recruitment of 160 Mission Volunteers. Selected volunteers will be deployed to ICFESW structures across the ten regions of Cameroon to support community development, youth empowerment, and social welfare activities. Volunteers will work according to their assigned terms of reference and contribute to project implementation, administration, training, outreach, and coordination activities. Available Positions National Program Coordinator Coordinators Regional Coordinators Regional Focal Points Communication & Content Creation Officers Marketing & Placement Officers Secretaries Accountants Technical Trainers Administrative & Reporting Officers Community Awareness Raisers Community Facilitators Office Secretaries Guard Supervisors Operations Manager (Guarding) Key Responsibilities Coordinate and implement volunteer and community projects Conduct training and awareness campaigns Support administrative and reporting tasks Manage communication and outreach programs Supervise field and security operations where applicable Assist in marketing, placement, and youth engagement activities Prepare activity and mission reports
Requirements Cameroonian nationality Minimum age: 18 years Educational level: BEPC to Bac+5 (depending on position) Relevant academic qualification in the chosen field 2–5 years experience (for technical/senior roles) Good knowledge of local context Ability to work with youth and vulnerable populations Strong communication and teamwork skills Proficiency in French or English (local languages an asset) Registered with the National Youth Observatory Application File Composition Applicants must submit: Handwritten application addressed to the Minister of Youth and Civic Education Completed application form (from ICFESW or PNV offices or website) Cover letter Copy of National ID card Copy of Biometric Youth Card (if applicable) Curriculum Vitae (CV) Copies of certificates/diplomas Passport size photo (4×4) A4 envelope bearing candidate details and chosen position Allowance / Benefits Mission Volunteers will receive a monthly allowance throughout the duration of their contract in accordance with Cameroon volunteering regulations.
