We are hiring in Cameroon.

Happisoft is looking for an Intermediate or Senior Web Developer to join our team for a full-time remote position.

We are looking for a serious, reliable and detail-oriented candidate who can build clean, responsive and high-performing websites, while also supporting the maintenance of our client website portfolio.

Position: Web Developer

Level: Intermediate or Senior

Location: Cameroon

Work mode: Full-time remote

Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Language required: French or English

Salary: 130,000 FCFA to 150,000 FCFA per month

Main responsibilities:

Manage website maintenance and updates for our client portfolio

Create new client websites when needed

Ensure follow-up, technical support and ongoing website maintenance

Fix technical issues and improve website performance

Make sure websites are responsive, secure and up to date

Collaborate with the Happisoft team on client projects and priorities

Required qualifications:

WordPress CMS and website development

Modern page builders, Elementor is a must

Strong HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript fundamentals

PHP basics and WordPress backend understanding

Responsive and mobile-first development

Cross-browser and multi-device compatibility testing

Website performance optimization best practices

Version control tools such as Git

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Bonus skills:

Custom WordPress theme or plugin development

Experience integrating APIs or third-party services

Familiarity with Shopify or other CMS tools

Python experience

Knowledge of SEO and marketing-oriented design principles

Important requirements:

The candidate must have a stable and reliable internet connection.

The candidate must also have the necessary work tools and equipment to perform the role remotely, including a functional computer and a professional work setup.
