To be filled on: 16/11/2026 Duration: 6-month fixed term (renewable subject to funding) Status: Local, national post not open for relocation Presentation of the organization SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) is an international humanitarian aid association for more than 40 years, providing relief to populations affected by armed conflicts and natural disasters by meeting their vital needs, drinking, eating and sheltering. Particularly engaged in the fight against diseases related to unsafe water, the leading cause of mortality in the world, SI implements through its interventions expertise in the field of access to drinking water, sanitation and promotion of hygiene but also in that, essential, food security and livelihood. Present since 2001 in the DRC, SI is currently carrying out emergency / post-emergency programmes in the DRC in the regions of Grand Nord-Kivu, Petit Nord-Kivu and Ituri to meet the humanitarian needs of populations affected by conflicts and natural disasters and to participate in the fight against epidemics. Responsibilities

The multi-sector Project Manager (RP) is responsible for operationalizing the phases of the project cycle under his responsibility. With the help of the team he/she supervises, the Project Manager is responsible for verifying the timely execution, quality and compliance of the activities under his/her responsibility with respect to national, international, IS and donor standards and requirements. Experience

In close collaboration and at the request of his/her manager, participates in the definition of the multi-year strategy, its annual review and annual programming on the basis of experience and evidence collected throughout the project cycle (evidence-based). In close collaboration and at the request of his/her manager, participates in the development of the sectoral strategy concerned and internal procedures consistent with the policies of the association. Project diagnosis and design Participates in the preparation, production and writing of situation analysis reports and needs identification diagnostics. Participates in the design, financial, human and logistical sizing of the projects to be implemented. Ensures the collection and analysis of data for the identification of protection risks, and proposes and implements measures to mitigate these risks in projects. Ensures the collection and catalyzes data for environmental assessments, and proposes and implements environmental mitigation measures in projects, based on identified risks. Draft the technical chapters (including the logical framework) and annexes necessary for project proposals and endorsements. Is the force of proposal on new projects based on identified needs (note of intent). Is a force of proposal regarding the definition and management of new approaches, innovative activities, or research initiatives, aimed at improving the quality of IS projects. Is force of proposal as to the potential partnerships to be put in place, whether they are technical, academic, or implementation. Implementation and operational monitoring Ensures the smooth running of the project cycle in compliance with IS strategy and programming, technical requirements of IS and country of intervention, IS procedures and donor criteria. Plans and supervises the implementation of projects for which he/she is responsible, in close coordination with the SERA departments, administrative, financial, HR, logistics and security (SERA plan, budget monitoring, cash request, procurement plan, recruitment, etc.) and the coordinating functional manager. Guarantees the systematic integration of cross-cutting themes (environment and climate, cross-cutting protection, public health and market-based approach), and, when relevant, multisectoral integration (internal and/or external). Ensures consistency and synergies between projects, when relevant. Uses IS management and monitoring tools, adjusts them and creates them with the objective of ensuring an agile implementation and adequate follow-up, in close collaboration with the departments mentioned above. Manages the learning cycle of projects for which he/she is responsible.

Job overview

Evaluates the relevance of the activities carried out, the effectiveness of the interventions and their adequacy with regard to the changing context and the needs of the populations. Is force of proposal concerning adjustments and developments necessary to maintain the relevance and quality of programs. Anticipates and communicates implementation difficulties and facilitates the resolution of programme difficulties. Conducts regular field visits. Reporting, communication and representation Writes and submits internal reporting on time, in accordance with IS formats and requirements. Prepares and submits on time the reports and appendices necessary to the donor requirements. Retains the role of focal point (reporting, communication, etc.) in case of implementation partnership. Locally identifies and maintains an operational communication network with key stakeholders (local authorities, civil society organizations, etc.). Ensures representation of IS at meetings and forums on programs at the duty station. Writes administrative documents jointly with government authorities, communities and partners (MoU, project delivery, etc.).
