Role Description This full-time, on-site Master Plumber role is based in Kigali and involves leading plumbing projects from installation to final inspection. The Master Plumber will plan, install, and repair water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures, and related piping in residential, commercial, or industrial properties. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing plumbing issues, performing maintenance and repairs, ensuring work complies with relevant codes and safety standards, and supervising or guiding junior plumbing staff as needed. The role also requires clear communication with clients, accurately documenting work performed, coordinating with other trades, and maintaining tools and materials in good working order. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in plumbing system design, installation, and troubleshooting. Candidates should possess skills related to pipe fitting, pipe layout, and selection of appropriate materials and components. Candidates should possess maintenance and repair skills, including preventive maintenance and emergency repair of plumbing systems. Candidates should possess customer service skills, including clear communication, professionalism, and responsiveness to client needs. Recognized Master Plumber certification or equivalent professional qualification. Proven experience in leading plumbing projects and ensuring compliance with local codes and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and building plans. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to perform on-site work, including lifting, bending, and working in various environments. Familiarity with health and safety standards, and commitment to safe work practices.
