[DUTIES]

  • Receive and analyze purchase requests for operations and sales
  • Search for local and international suppliers, obtain and compare quotes (prices, deadlines, technical compliance)
  • Negotiate prices, terms and conditions of payment, including switching to supplier credit
  • Issue purchase orders and track deliveries until received
  • Coordinate imports with freight forwarders: documents, customs clearance, logistics monitoring
  • Build and maintain the supplier base, regularly evaluate their performance
  • Manage the stock of consumables and equipment (paintings, insulation, sheet metal, PPE, scaffolding, rope working equipment)
  • Provide cost prices to the sales team for quotes
  • Ensure QHSE compliance of purchases and document traceability (certificates, data sheets, SDS)

[PROFILE]

  • Bachelor or Master in Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce or equivalent; a technical profile is a plus
  • Young graduates welcome; an internship or first experience in purchasing is a plus (industry, oil and gas, construction)
  • Bilingual French / English (essential with foreign suppliers)
  • Basic knowledge of import procedures in Cameroon and Incoterms
  • Mastery of Excel; an ERP experience (preferably Odoo) is a plus
  • Negotiation, rigor, integrity and responsiveness
