[ABOUT THE JOB]

Mérina Hotel, 4-star hotel located in Yaoundé (Street El Hadj Ahmadou Ahidjo, opposite the Katios), recruits a Chief Accounting Department (Chief Accountant) on permanent contracts.

[DUTIES]

• Oversee the accounting team and ensure the reliability of accounts
• Develop monthly, quarterly and annual financial budgets and forecasts
• Establish budgetary adjustments and monitor cash flow
• Make payments and collections, make bank reconciliations and manage objections
• Verify and validate accounting charges on invoices and documents
• Maintain general and/or analytical accounting, monitor the consistency of accounting documents, optimize expenses
• Identify tax and customs risks related to accounting operations
• Produce accounting and legal documents (balance sheets, income statements, annexes, management reports)
• Maintaining relationships with financial partners and regulatory bodies
• Oversee and organize monthly, semi-annual and annual inventories

[PROFILE]

• Minimum 5 years of experience including 3 years in a similar position
• Experience in hotels highly recommended
• Minimum Master in Accounting-Finance / Accounting-Control-Audit and Management
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS, general, public and analytical accounting, and taxation
• Mastery of the Office package, Sage Compta and hotel operating software EZEE
• Discretion, resistance to pressure, spirit of analysis, rigor and sense of organization
