As a member of the SPICES project team+, you will monitor and report on activities related to agroforestry production in support of Catholic Relief Services (CRS)’s work with poor and vulnerable populations. - Support the coordination and implementation of all assigned project activities related to agroforestry production, nursery management, adoption of good agricultural and agroforestry practices and landscape restoration in accordance with the detailed implementation plan, RSC program quality principles and standards, donor requirements and best practices.
- Monitor and report on identified challenges and/or gaps in the implementation of agroforestry production activities to guide adjustments to implementation plans and timelines.
Experience
- Support partners in their efforts to reflect on the experiences of the project.
- Contribute to accountability by coordinating project evaluation activities and supporting partners in the collection and analysis of project data according to defined mechanisms and tools.
- Collaborate with local partners to prepare reports according to the established reporting schedule, monitoring indicators related to the production, restoration and adoption of agroforestry practices.
Education / Qualifications
- Collect information on the capacity-building needs of staff and technical assistance from partner organizations, producer organizations and community workers, and monitor capacity-building and technical support activities to ensure their effectiveness.
- Complete the project documentation for assigned activities. Contribute to the identification of information for case studies and reports on promising practices, particularly in agroforestry production, landscape restoration and producer resilience.
